Important Update as of April 1, 2011 — As a result of the overwhelming popularity of Banknote 2011 combined with the fact that two other major events in Washington have just been announced for the same week of the Conference – placing a huge demand on the available hotel rooms in the city — we are pleased to announce that we have secured an additional room block for our delegates at the W Hotel, a five minute walk from the JW Marriott.
Banknote 2011 is space limited and will sell out. We are doing everything we can to accommodate the delegates that have yet to register and reserve a hotel room. To guarantee your attendance at the Conference and a hotel room, please (i) register for the Conference as soon as possible AND (2) book a hotel room immediately (see links below). Government delegates will be given first preference for the remaining rooms at the JW Marriott and industry delegates will be directed to the W Hotel.

Although the Conference does not offer a formal spouse or family program, visiting Washington, DC is very easy and convenient from the Conference location. This rate is on a space available basis and is almost full — once the government room block is full, all remaining rooms will be available at the Banknote 2011 negotiated rate of $290 per night, before 14.5% taxes.

Banknote 2011 has secured an additional room block for our delegates at the W Hotel, a five minute walk from the JW Marriott. The W is downtown Washington's newest hotel that has a modern and upscale environment established within a historic building that was painstakingly renovated two years ago. Each sleeping room at the W looks out on the Department of the Treasury and the White House.
